Talent Works is working with a fast growing racing team that is entering the FIA Formula One World Championship. This new Team is gearing up for rapid growth. To achieve their goals, they need to create and sustain a high-performance culture in every area. They have ambitious plans to build an outstanding operation that can compete at the highest level.

Work as part of a People and Culture Partnering Team to deliver outstanding business value and services to your area/s, driving business results and increasing team engagement. This will be achieved by partnering with key business leaders and team members across the organisation to shape and deliver the People Strategy. The People and Culture Partner develops and implements the strategic and operational plans based on insight, data and an understanding of what is possible from the external environment impacting all stages of the employee life cycle.

What you will be doing:

  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders by delivering value in your respective areas.
  • Collaborate with leaders and managers, bringing your people expertise, to help shape local people strategies including; org design, headcount planning, talent management, recruitment strategies and reward.
  • Drive a culture of high performance and engagement, where talent is recognised.
  • Coach managers on all people topics, policies and practices to drive performance and engagement, ensuring fairness and consistency across the team.
  • Collaborate closely with People Team specialists with a ‘one team’ approach, shaping our offerings and embedding them effectively in the business.
  • Be one step ahead in terms of understanding, data and insights (externally and internally) to identify people priorities for the business and enhance decision making.
  • Keep track of headcount budgets.
  • Keep up to date with People Team best practices within the sector - feeding in to respective specialists.
  • Question and challenge team cultures and behaviours to ensure that they are consistent with the Team’s Identity.
  • Ensure diversity and inclusivity runs through everything we do.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant experience operating as an HRBP, within an operational or manufacturing environment.
  • Degree preferred and CIPD qualified to level 5 or above.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience facilitating complex shift patterns, rotas, on call patterns, contingent workers and respective compensation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Employee Relations and UK employment law, international (US and Germany) employment law knowledge a bonus.
  • Experience of supporting the implementation of change initiatives, ideally within a rapidly growing or evolving business setting.
  • Numerically competent with proven experience producing quality management information with trend analysis aimed at stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Up to date knowledge of best practice and emerging trends in the field of HR.
  • Ideally, experience of working in a fast paced, high performance environment.
