Role purpose Join GRIDSERVE Network Operations as a Field Service Technician and support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our national EV charging estate and future OMM client sites. This is a practical field role supporting planned maintenance, reactive response, installation, inspection, commissioning and asset-care activities within assessed competence. Candidate profil • Relevant Level 2 electrical, engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience • Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, construction, utilities, telecoms, automotive or similar technical environment • Basic understanding of electrical hazards, safe isolation principles and AC/DC electrical systems appropriate to the role • Able to follow technical instructions, drawings, checklists and safe systems of work • Full UK driving licence and ECS, CSCS or equivalent card, or ability to obtain one • Comfortable working outdoors, travelling regionally and using mobile work-order systems and evidence capture Core accountabilities Safe field delivery and personal responsibility Planned and reactive maintenance Electrical installation and repair support EV charging infrastructure and associated systems Network Control, isolation and HV interfaces Commissioning and operational handover support Work planning, productivity and documentation Tools, equipment, vehicle and stock Customer, site and stakeholder conduct Incident support, defect escalation and continuous improvement OMM service delivery and client estates Training, competence and development
