Join GRIDSERVE Network Operations as a Field Service Engineer and deliver independent field engineering across planned maintenance, reactive response, electrical installation, testing, repair, commissioning and asset-care activities. The role directly supports safety, network availability, repair quality, customer experience and future OMM-as-a-service delivery.
Candidate profile
- Recognised Level 3 electrotechnical qualification and apprenticeship, NVQ, AM2 or equivalent evidence of qualified-electrician status
- Current wiring-regulations qualification and recognised inspection/testing qualification or equivalent assessed competence
- Substantial practical experience as a qualified electrician, electrical maintenance engineer or field service engineer
- Structured fault diagnosis across LV AC/DC systems, controls, communications, cooling, metering and auxiliary systems
- Full UK driving licence and ECS Gold Card, JIB grading or equivalent evidence of experience and competence appropriate to the work
- Able to work independently, control site tasks, travel regionally and participate in standby, call-out or emergency response
