We are seeking a Senior Treasury Assistant to support the Group Treasury Director in managing short‑term cash flow, day‑to‑day treasury operations, reporting and analysis. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our London office. The successful candidate will deliver accurate, timely reporting, maintain Treasury administration, and provide ad‑hoc analysis to support treasury decision‑making and liquidity management.
Key Responsibilities
- Short‑term cash flow reporting: Work with the Group Finance team to prepare weekly cash forecasts, reconcile forecast vs actual, analyse variances and recommend actions to manage liquidity.
- Day‑to‑day treasury operations: Manage bank account administration, maintain mandates, KYC updates, and liaise with business on operational issues.
- Month‑end reporting support: Produce long‑term cash forecast, and liaise with Group Finance to understand and provide commentary for movements.
- Working capital analysis: Analyse receivables, payables and inventory trends; identify drivers of cash conversion cycle movements and produce monthly working capital reports.
- Borrowing documentation management: Maintain lender records, take ownership of reporting calendar and banking fees schedule.
- Ad‑hoc analysis and reporting: Deliver management information, scenario analysis and project‑based support for treasury initiatives, and stakeholder requests.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline preferred.
- Experience: 1-2+ years treasury experience. Familiarity with cash management, cash flows and management reporting.
- Systems: Strong Excel skills required. Experience with corporate banking portals preferable.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical: Strong cash forecasting working capital analysis.
- Analytical: Comfortable with data analysis, variance investigation and presenting conclusions/suggestions.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal skills; able to present information clearly and concisely. Ability to liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.
- Organisational: Able to manage priorities, meet tight deadlines and work autonomously.
- Personal: Proactive, responsive to feedback and willingness to learn.

- Work pattern: Hybrid role requiring three days per week in our London office and two days remote.
