Role Overview
As a Senior Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that maximise revenue, profitability, and market share. You will analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscapes to create data-driven pricing models and guide cross‑functional teams in implementing effective pricing initiatives. Your insights will be critical in shaping product positioning and driving business growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimise pricing strategies across product lines or service offerings to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Conduct detailed market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify pricing opportunities, risks, and market positioning.
- Lead pricing projects and collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing with business objectives.
- Build and maintain advanced pricing models, including cost‑plus, value‑based, dynamic, and promotional pricing frameworks.
- Monitor pricing performance and market response, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify and assess the impact of pricing changes on customer demand, sales volumes, and profitability.
- Develop pricing guidelines, policies, and governance processes to ensure consistent and compliant pricing practices.
- Support new product launches and go‑to‑market strategies by defining competitive and profitable pricing.
- Manage pricing tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integration with business intelligence platforms.
- Mentor and guide junior pricing analysts or managers, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and pricing innovations to maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with external partners or consultants as required for benchmarking and market research.
Person Specification
Required Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies using a variety of models and tools.
- Experience working in B2B, technology, or consumer goods sectors preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems beneficial.

- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from conception to execution.
Required Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting complex pricing concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
