The ideal candidate will have experience managing Software Sales teams that sell complex integration, cloud, big data, data governance and/or SaaS solutions into corporate companies. We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to develop our accounts across the UK with a focus on the public sector. The role involves managing and growing a team of 6+ Account Sales Executives, generating growth within new and existing customers, and achieving aggressive targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the region.
  • Lead, coach and mentor a high‑performance sales team to exceed revenue quotas.
  • Take full responsibility for accurate forecasting and quarterly revenue delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key corporate, line‑of‑business, IT and procurement executives.
  • Act as an Informatica ambassador, evangelizing the solution and publicizing success stories.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop impactful sales strategies.
  • Drive value‑based selling, pricing strategy, and negotiation with customers.
  • Manage prospecting, upselling/cross‑selling and pipeline development.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales processes and maintain market awareness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of software positioning and selling to line‑of‑business, IT and procurement executives.
  • Metrics‑driven mindset with strong analytical approach and prior sales methodology training.
  • Experience building and hiring top‑tier sales organizations.
  • Proven track record of over‑achieving quota in high‑value enterprise software deals.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong customer references and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • 10+ years of successful enterprise software sales or sales management with a history of exceeding targets.
  • University degree or equivalent practical experience.
