About The Role
We are looking for a
Senior Kotlin & Type Script Developer to join a high-performing engineering team in London.
This is a hands-on full-stack engineering role, focused on building and enhancing modern trading technology. You will work across
Kotlin backend services and Type Script/React frontend applications , contributing to a critical trade store platform within a sophisticated financial markets environment.
The role would suit an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the stack and wants to contribute to well-engineered, high-performance systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin.
- Build modern, responsive frontend applications using Type Script and React.
- Develop and integrate APIs supporting trading and financial workflows.
- Work with Postgre SQL to design, query and optimise data storage.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
- Deliver clean, maintainable and production-ready code.
- Write automated tests and maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and production issues.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver new functionality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tooling and processes.

- Solid understanding of modern JVM-based software development.
- Experience designing and building robust backend services.

- Strong experience with Postgre SQL.
- Good understanding of relational database design, SQL and performance considerations.
