We are seeking a talented senior developer to work with our teams in a leading global Tier 1 investment bank to join its London-based Equity Derivatives Pre-Trade Technology team. This is a high-impact role where you'll help shape and deliver a strategic pre-trade Request-for-Quote (RFQ) and pricing platform used globally by Equity Derivatives and Delta One trading desks. You'll combine hands‑on development with technical leadership, working closely with Front Office Sales, Trading, Quantitative Research and Technology teams to deliver business‑critical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, scalable software following engineering best practices.
  • Partner directly with traders, sales teams and quants to deliver innovative front‑office solutions.
  • Drive architecture, technical direction and system enhancements across the platform.
  • Mentor developers and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture.
  • Champion observability, automated testing and CI/CD best practices.
  • Work within an agile, fast-paced environment delivering frequent releases.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Developer or Technical Lead.
  • Strong front-end development expertise, particularly JavaScript and React.
  • Proven experience building production‑grade applications and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices and modern software architecture.
  • Experience with automated testing, monitoring, observability and CI/CD pipelines.
