We are hiring several Golang engineers at mid/senior and principal level to accelerate automation across a large‐scale, physical infrastructure platform. This is an opportunity to contribute to a cutting‐edge, high‐performance tech environment that operates with startup‐style agility and the stability of a well‐established organisation in the hedge‐fund space. Responsibilities

  • Build and expand Golang‐based workflows for provisioning bare‐metal servers at scale.
  • Use the OpenStack Ironic Golang SDK to manage OS image deployments to physical machines.
  • Write clean, testable, production‐ready Go code that integrates into a wider automation stack.
  • Solve deep systems challenges across hardware, networking, and orchestration layers.
  • Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams while working with high independence.

Requirements

  • Expert‐level proficiency in Golang, especially in systems or infrastructure‐focused environments.
  • Quickly get up to speed with unfamiliar codebases and start contributing with minimal hand‐holding.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, concurrency, and infrastructure‐as‐code principles.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently across tech and non‐tech stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • OpenStack Ironic or other provisioning platforms.
  • Terraform, Vault, Ansible, or similar tooling.
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
  • Temporal or Cadence for orchestrating workflows.
