You will join our Investment Banking client where you will sit across all areas of the business to deliver a global transformation to become truly cloud native, migrating on-prem systems onto the cloud, re‑writing legacy systems/monolithic systems into microservices, and a lot of Kubernetes work. The team are using Go, Kotlin, Python, Java, but the criteria for this hire is they MUST have Go at least (any other languages are a bonus). Mix of greenfield and brownfield, emphasis on best practice and building tech blueprints that can be replicated across the bank and used by different teams.
Responsibilities:
- New work on genAI, building tech frameworks to enable devs to use genAI tools and security controls/monitoring tools around this.
- Often changing requirements so dealing with ambiguity and taking initiative is needed.
