We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the clientβs critical Data Platform solutions. In this role, you will provide dedicated support and maintain the health of the data infrastructure.
This position involves on-call responsibilities to address critical incidents and maintain system availability.
Essential functions
- Provide support and ensure the stability of Data Platform solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response.
- Manage cloud resources using IaC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform on AWS and GCP.
- Implement data security best practices in cloud applications.
- Apply cloud networking knowledge (VPCs, Route 53, Security Groups, NLB/ALB) for secure data flow.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
- Support applications on Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Use Go and/or Python for automation tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with applications, data engineering, or machine learning workloads on AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on with CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Knowledge of data security principles in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with AWS networking (VPCs, Route 53, Security Groups, NLB/ALB).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes application support.
- Proficiency in Go or Python.
