An established architectural practice in London is currently seeking a Senior Architect with strong experience in cladding and facade design and delivery to join its growing team.

This is a key hire at a strategic level, offering the opportunity to play an important role in shaping the technical direction of projects while working within a well supported and collaborative studio environment.

The role will focus on complex facade packages across a varied portfolio, including residential and commercial workplace schemes.

The successful candidate will be involved from early design coordination through to detailed delivery, working closely with internal teams, consultants and contractors to ensure high quality technical outcomes.

This position would suit someone with a strong technical mindset and deep sector knowledge, who is confident taking ownership of facade related elements while contributing to wider project delivery.

Requirements

  • Significant post qualification experience at Senior Architect level
  • Strong background in cladding and facade design and delivery across multiple project stages
  • Proven experience working on residential and or commercial office projects
  • Excellent technical knowledge of building envelopes, materials and construction detailing
  • Ability to manage and coordinate facade packages alongside multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with consultants and contractors
  • Revit is not essential, with the focus being on technical expertise and sector knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously while supporting and mentoring more junior team members
  • Highly organised with a proactive and professional approach
