We are hiring a commercially driven and analytically strong Property Investment Director to lead a UK-wide property acquisition and pricing function. Our client is a specialist housing provider delivering accommodation at scale for government partners, focused on sourcing safe, appropriate, and well-located homes for vulnerable individuals. The organisation operates nationally and combines operational delivery with increasing emphasis on data-led decision making and value assurance.
This is a hybrid leadership role combining high-volume residential acquisitions, data-led pricing, and oversight of a national team of 30+ property sourcers. You will drive deal flow across dispersed housing, negotiate directly with landlords, and ensure all properties meet both operational needs and clear value-for-money expectations.
A core part of the role is building and leading a new pricing function. You will define what the business should pay across locations, develop structured pricing frameworks, and implement robust, data-driven decision systems that can withstand external scrutiny. The ability to clearly justify decisions using data, particularly to government stakeholders is essential.
We are looking for candidates who combine strong deal-making instincts with analytical capability and experience leading teams at scale. You are likely to have operated in environments where acquisitions, pricing, and portfolio decision-making intersect, and where both pace and governance matter.
This is not a traditional investment role. You will be expected to build systems, not just close deals, and create a repeatable, data-backed approach to acquisition that demonstrates value for money at scale.
