Senior Logistics Manager 12 Month FTC Logistics Transformation, Systems Improvement & People Development We are pleased to be working with one of the UK's largest providers of temporary accommodation, transport, property maintenance, safeguarding, and resident support services on behalf of central government. Operating across London, the South of England, and Wales, it manages a complex accommodation and logistics network, delivering essential services within a highly regulated environment. To lead the transformation of the logistics function by implementing efficient systems, standardised processes, and strong performance management frameworks. The role will focus on improving operational efficiency, developing leadership capability, and creating a scalable, high-performing logistics operation that supports business growth and contractual delivery. Operational Transformation Review and redesign logistics processes and operating procedures. Operate to support current contractual KPIs and to ensure compliance with these and supply chain governance standards set by the customer. Logistics Management Oversee all logistics activities including: Furniture and equipment deployment Monitor performance against operational and contractual targets Lead responses to urgent operational demands and changing business requirements Implement technology solutions to improve visibility, planning, scheduling, and reporting. Improve accountability, engagement, and performance. Financial & Compliance Management Manage logistics budgets and identify efficiency savings. Monitor supplier performance and commercial value. Senior logistics management experience within a multi-site operation. Proven track record of operational transformation and change management. Experience implementing systems, processes, and performance frameworks. Logistics leadership Systems implementation Performance management Coaching and mentoring Data analysis and reporting Housing and accommodation services. Facilities management operations. Large-scale mobilisation and transformation projects. Standardised logistics processes implemented. A transformational logistics leader with a proven ability to improve underperforming operations, develop people, implement effective systems and processes, and build a high-performing logistics function.
