Executive Research Partner
We connect exceptional leaders to opportunities that transform businesses and careers.
At GRG Executive Search, we believe that great leadership changes everything. Whether it's a FTSE 100 boardroom appointment or finding the perfect leader for a fast-growing scale-up, we're focused on making connections that create real impact. Our approach is personal, we're changing careers and shaping the future of organisations across the UK.
With our collaborative, non-hierarchical culture and passion for people, we've built something special. Our Researchers and Partners work together to deliver search that actually matters.
You'll be a detective, strategist and relationship-builder all rolled into one. This isn't your typical researcher role, you'll be leading research strategy, managing client relationships, and identifying the leaders who'll shape tomorrow's businesses.
Your day-to-day
You'll drive research excellence that identifies top-tier talent, working across a range of industries from SME’s to established multinationals, you'll devise and lead research approaches that go way beyond LinkedIn searches. You'll map entire industries, spot emerging talent, and build the kind of candidate networks that set us apart.
You'll build deep client relationships from initial briefings to final presentations, you'll be front and centre with our clients. You'll champion diversity and create outstanding candidate experiences, every conversation matters. You'll make sure our longlists reflect the full spectrum of talent out there, and every candidate – whether they get the role or not – walks away feeling valued and respected. We're building relationships for the long-term.
You'll focus on continuous improvement utilising our inhouse database, research methodologies and market intelligence – you'll constantly be thinking about how we can enhance our approach and deliver even better results.
You should apply if:
- You've got experience in executive search or recruitment, with an aspiration to develop into an executive search consultant
- You're naturally curious and love the thrill of the hunt
- You can build rapport with anyone from start-up founders to FTSE board members
- You can spot exceptional talent beyond impressive CVs and LinkedIn profiles
- You thrive in collaborative environments and aren't precious about hierarchy
It would be great if:
- You've worked in executive search before (but brilliant researchers or recruiters from other backgrounds are welcome!)
- You understand what make different industries tick
What's in it for you:
Competitive salary that reflects your experience and bonus based on results delivered
Birmingham-based with hybrid working
Flexible hours – we trust you to manage your time like the professional you are
4.5 day working week
