Role Responsibilities:
- Supervising a portfolio of clients, handling all aspects of their tax needs including compliance and ad hoc project work.
- Producing and reviewing tax disclosures for financial statements.
- Researching technical tax matters and presenting solutions in a clear, client-friendly format.
- Liaising with specialists on complex tax issues, ensuring clients receive expert advice.
- Supporting junior staff members and contributing to the development of the tax team.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
Candidate Requirements:
- Significant experience in tax compliance and advisory work, ideally gained in a practice setting.
- Confident managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their tax affairs are compliant and up to date.
- Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to research complex tax issues and present findings in a clear and practical way.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Holds or is working towards a CTA qualification (or equivalent), with study support available for the right candidate.
Package:
- Salary of £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (negotiable depending on depth of experience).
