Job Description Summary
The Front of House Manager is responsible for assisting the Community and Assistant Manager in day-to-day front of house operations.
You will supervise the team and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service to achieve the site's leasing and occupancy goals and drive revenue targets.
By leading the team by example, you will contribute to building positive, professional relationships and creating a welcoming community for residents.
- Key Role Responsibilities
- Act as a role model at all times by demonstrating the core values. Lead and motivate the team toward achieving NPS objectives, leasing goals, and occupancy targets.
- Oversee daily property activities, ensuring work is organized and executed in line with Greystar expectations.
Maintain brand knowledge and ensure the team acts as brand ambassadors.
- Work with marketing to shape local marketing and leasing strategies based on market data; ensure campaigns, advertising, and promotions are effectively implemented.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders (sales, marketing, groups, universities); communicate regularly with representatives and ensure compliance with regulations while providing performance data.
- Promote and lead the Front of House team to deliver excellent customer service and improve the customer experience.
- Engage with residents to proactively improve service delivery and satisfaction. Respond promptly to questions, requests, and complaints and take appropriate action.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention by timely responses and addressing service issues; use property systems to generate sales and leasing reports and monitor unit/bed availability for accuracy.
- Oversee on-site inquiries, manage inventory of ready apartments, advise on rent pricing and concessions, and monitor day-to-day sales and leasing activities.
- Leverage knowledge of the local area to meet residents' needs.
Participate in the leasing process by generating traffic, qualifying prospects, preparing tenancy documentation, and completing check-in/check-out procedures in accordance with policies.
- Coordinate tenancy management, including periodic apartment inspections, evictions, and the assessment and collection of late fees and other charges per the lease terms.
- Monitor payments and pursue outstanding rent arrears while promoting tenancy extensions and other revenue streams.
- Develop team capability to meet key performance goals and succession requirements.
Collaborate with facilities to ensure the property's appearance meets standards and inspect show flats for market alignment.
- Assist the Community Manager to ensure health and safety compliance, monitor incident reporting, and complete required compliance activities.
- Support investor satisfaction through timely reporting on property performance and respond promptly to client/owner concerns or requests.
- Participate in on-call roster as needed to provide out-of-hours emergency support for the Community.
- Ensure operations comply with company policies and applicable housing laws and regulations.
- Knowledge & Qualifications
Good level of general education. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency in using property operations software. Training will be provided as needed.
