This is an interdisciplinary position on the Global Product Specialist team within the Investment Management business. The Product Specialist Associate supports Greystar’s fund formation and capital raising activities across European commingled funds, working closely with a global institutional investor base and cross‑functional internal stakeholders.
- Capital Raising & Product Specialist Support – Sit at the forefront of the end‑to‑end investor due diligence process, prepare and coordinate responses to due diligence questionnaires and information requests, and support all other fundraising efforts across European commingled funds. Respond to investor inquiries, coordinate and attend investor meetings and property tours in and around London, and participate in and lead internal project management workstreams across multiple teams.
- Marketing Materials, Roadshows & Events – Prepare marketing and investor materials, including pitchbooks, fund offering documents, and DDQs, working closely with Compliance. Contribute to innovative investor‑appropriate approaches to positioning Greystar’s investment products, support ad hoc presentations, and assist in organizing events, roadshows, and conference participation with logistics coordination and material preparation.
- CRM, Investor Mapping & Business Development – Maintain and manage investment offering information within the CRM, ensuring accurate implementation, updates, and tracking of fundraising activity. Support the team in mapping the institutional investor landscape globally and positioning Greystar’s products within the EMEA landscape to expand the investor base in European products.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in real‑estate, business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a client‑service/Product Specialist role with an adviser or manager of alternative investment strategies (e.g., real‑estate, private equity, hedge funds) or comparable investment banking experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of institutional private‑fund products and their structures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and explain data to team members and external investors persuasively.
- Experience interfacing with an institutional client base.
- Proficiency in word processing, Excel, and database management programs.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Mastery of key investment metrics such as IRR and equity multiple.
- Strong project‑management skills, capable of prioritising and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong work ethic, results‑oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
