JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Role Summary:

Ensures the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of the community, including external litter, all internal communal spaces, reception and office areas, and other amenities to enhance and maintain community appeal and provide a positive resident experience.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a friendly and supportive team, playing a vital role within the Community team to ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the community.
  • Respond positively to customer queries, resolving them promptly or signposting residents to the appropriate person for assistance.
  • Clean the reception, offices, common spaces, and restrooms regularly.
  • Check all amenity areas daily and clean as required.
  • Carry out daily litter picks in all external areas of the community.
  • Ensure all vacant rooms and apartments, including show flats, are refreshed throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal.
  • Conduct weekly flush downs in all empty rooms and apartments following health and safety policies.
  • Assist in the make-ready process by performing additional duties as requested by the Community Manager or supervisor.
  • Report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations observed to the Community Manager.
  • Log maintenance issues with the Customer Service team as identified during daily tasks.
  • Address resident concerns or queries as needed.
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
  • Use materials and equipment efficiently, promoting cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Organisational Responsibilities:

  • Follow established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards, reporting violations as necessary.
  • Demonstrate safe behaviors in accordance with company, property, and departmental policies, reporting safety issues immediately.
  • Identify areas for improvement, suggest efficiency enhancements, and implement operational improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry changes by attending relevant training sessions.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write in English to fully understand safety labels, policies, and manuals.
  • Knowledge of UK health and safety requirements.
