We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will work with children aged 0–5, supporting their development and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Plan and deliver activities that support children’s learning and development across all areas.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help children develop social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver consistent and high standards of care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years).
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love of working with children.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to train).
