Our client, a well-established FMCG manufacturer, is looking for a Junior Production Manager to take ownership of day-to-day production activities and help drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within their manufacturing operation.
This role would suit someone currently working as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, or Assistant Production Manager who has strong technical knowledge and is ready to grow into a broader production leadership position.
What you will be responsible for
- Managing and improving liquid soap and detergent production processes.
- Ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.
- Leading, supporting, and developing production teams.
- Monitoring production performance, waste, downtime, and process improvements.
- Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
What we are looking for
- A Degree, BTech, or relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in liquid soap, liquid detergent, dishwashing liquid, or homecare manufacturing.
- Experience working with ISO 9001 quality systems and GMP principles.
- Previous experience leading or supervising production teams.
- A hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
Experience in formulation, batching, blending, Lean Manufacturing, or new product development will be advantageous.
