Paediatric Occupational Therapist
London
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum.
Our well-established client is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Identifying activities and motivations to help patients work towards their goals.
- Helping children with disabilities perform activities such as dressing, eating, and walking.
- Educating families and friends on how to care for and accommodate children with disabilities.
- Recommending and instructing on the use of special equipment.
- Documenting and assessing patient activities and progress, and creating review reports.
- Seeing up to 7 children a day (45-minute sessions).
Qualifications and skills:
- HCPC Registered.
- Paediatric Occupational Therapy experience (4 years preferred).
- Experience with Sensory Integration treatment approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
