Our well established client are looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
- Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
- Educating the patients’ families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
- Recommending special equipment and instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
- Documenting and assessing the patient’s activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
- Seeing up to 7 children a day (45mins sessions).
Qualifications and skills:
- HCPC Registered.
- Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (4 years preferred).
- Experience in using a Sensory Integration treatment approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
