The Role

Join a specialist interdisciplinary team delivering Speech & Language Therapy within a neurobehavioural model for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI). This is a senior position with responsibility for leading SaLT provision and managing a complex caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver communication and dysphagia assessments and therapy programmes.
  • Develop rehabilitation goals and evidence-based care plans.
  • Work autonomously, potentially as the sole SaLT within the service.
  • Provide staff training on dysphagia management.
  • Lead on service development, planning, and evaluation.

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist (essential).
  • Experience with acquired brain injury and complex needs.
  • Strong knowledge of dysphagia management.
  • Understanding of neurobehavioural approaches.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high clinical standards.
