The Role
Join a specialist interdisciplinary team delivering Speech & Language Therapy within a neurobehavioural model for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI). This is a senior position with responsibility for leading SaLT provision and managing a complex caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver communication and dysphagia assessments and therapy programmes.
- Develop rehabilitation goals and evidence-based care plans.
- Work autonomously, potentially as the sole SaLT within the service.
- Provide staff training on dysphagia management.
- Lead on service development, planning, and evaluation.
Requirements
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist (essential).
- Experience with acquired brain injury and complex needs.
- Strong knowledge of dysphagia management.
- Understanding of neurobehavioural approaches.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high clinical standards.
