We're recruiting on behalf of a busy medical practice in Leadenhall seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide immediate holiday cover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous medical practice reception experience who can confidently step into a fast-paced environment and provide a professional, welcoming service to patients from day one. The Role As the first point of contact for patients, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reception runs smoothly while delivering a high standard of customer service. You'll be handling appointments, managing enquiries and supporting the wider practice team with day-to-day administrative duties. Responsibilities * Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice * Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to enquiries * Booking, amending and cancelling appointments * Checking patients in for appointments * Managing patient records and updating information accurately * Handling general administrative tasks and correspondence * Supporting the clinical and administrative teams as required About You To be considered, you'll have previous experience working as a Receptionist within a GP surgery, medical practice or similar healthcare setting. You'll also have: * Excellent communication and customer service skills * A professional and friendly manner * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * The ability to remain calm in a busy environment * Confidence using medical practice systems and Microsoft Office Assignment Details * Location: Leadenhall, London * Pay: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour If you're an experienced Receptionist, we'd love to hear from you.
