We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our clients' expanding peripatetic team. This role is suitable for experienced OHTs or those with a Sport Science degree, a background as an Emergency Medical Technician, or in a transferrable health-related field such as Combat Medical or Ambulance Assistant.
The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout the UK in a mobile screening van to client sites to deliver health surveillance services. This is a full-time role where the successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week, usually between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Health surveillance screening
- Audiometry
- Lung function testing
- Drug and alcohol testing
- General baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis
- Supporting additional tasks as requested, such as health promotion activities
- Providing support to the whole occupational health team in helping the department run smoothly and effectively, undertaking non-clinical tasks as requested
