We’re working in partnership with a fast-growing, highly respected events and media business to recruit a Marketing Manager for one of its flagship built environment exhibitions. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the marketing strategy for a leading construction industry event within the UK and international exhibitions calendar. You’ll shape and deliver the marketing approach for a major B2B trade show, driving exhibitor engagement and visitor registration in a highly competitive market.

The Role
As Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns for a major construction industry exhibition, working closely with commercial, content, and senior leadership teams. You’ll be responsible for driving both visitor attendance and exhibitor engagement, ensuring continued growth and strong positioning within the built environment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Campaign Delivery
- Own and deliver the marketing strategy aligned to commercial objectives
- Build and execute multi-channel campaigns across the full event cycle
- Define messaging, positioning, and audience targeting within the construction sector
- Visitor Marketing & Growth
- Drive high-quality visitor registrations across contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and suppliers
- Manage the end-to-end visitor journey from acquisition to attendance
- Exhibitor Marketing Support
- Partner with the commercial team to support exhibitor sales and retention
- Deliver campaigns, assets, and exhibitor marketing toolkits to maximise ROI
- Digital, CRM & Performance
- Manage performance across email, paid media, web, and organic channels
- Build and optimise CRM journeys and segmentation
- Report on key KPIs including registrations, CPL, conversion rates, and revenue impact
- Content, Brand & Partnerships
- Deliver content-led campaigns to build awareness within the construction sector
- Work with industry partners and associations to strengthen reach and credibility
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels
About You
- Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within events, exhibitions, or media
- Strong track record of delivering lead generation or registration campaigns
- Commercially minded with clear understanding of pipeline and conversion
- Strong communicator with solid copywriting ability
- Comfortable managing multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or built environment sectors
- Experience with large-scale trade exhibitions
- CRM and marketing automation experience
- Agency management experience
