I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well-established private healthcare organisation on a locum basis.
What you'll be doing:
- Completing comprehensive physical, cognitive, emotional and environmental assessments
- Developing individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans
- Supporting patients with functional skills, cognitive rehabilitation, equipment and adaptations
- Working closely with physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and other AHPs
- Supporting safe and timely discharge planning
- Contributing to MDT meetings, clinical decision-making and goal setting
- Liaising with patients, families and carers to support positive outcomes
What we're looking for:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience within an acute, rehabilitation or community setting
- Strong assessment, communication and clinical planning skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within an MDT
- Experience in areas such as neuro, orthopaedics, elderly care or mental health would be advantageous
This is a great opportunity for an OT looking for flexibility, additional shifts or the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
