The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Wellbeing Advisor to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team on client sights in Govan and Scotstoun (Scotland).

This full time role is working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern which will include a morning, day and evening shift, between the hours of 8am and midnight.

Duties will include:

  • Health Screening assessments
  • Conducting individual and group health and wellbeing interventions.
  • Supporting patients with lifestyle-induced diseases in making sustainable lifestyle choices for chronic condition management.
  • Offering best practice guidance on nutrition and exercise to employees, supporting positive lifestyle changes.
  • Leading group-based functional rehabilitation programmes aimed at building autonomy.
  • Supporting and delivering educational workshops and health & wellbeing webinars.
  • Supporting the design of health promotion campaigns informed by organisational data.
  • Managing the clinical diary with support from the Senior Wellbeing Physiologist.
  • Serving as a role model, ambassador, and team player for health and wellbeing, promoting a culture that prioritises health and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Sports Science/Health Science/Exercise Physiology/Sports Therapy.
  • Qualifications in Level 2 Gym Instructing, Level 3 Personal Training and Level 3 Exercise Referral.
  • Previous experience in sport, medical, health, wellbeing or fitness environment or studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology or nutrition.
  • An understanding of health risks in the workplace and the impact on work.
  • Experience of delivering health assessments or have knowledge of clinical measures.
  • Experience of delivering health interventions to individuals/groups.
  • Knowledge of progression and regression of exercises to meet the needs of the patient and injury.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including people with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and mental health conditions.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Sports Sciences or Physiology
