Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Permanent | Flexible working hours available
Location: Birmingham
Salary: up to £53,000 per annum pro rata based on experience
Our well established client are looking for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Assess how a person’s communication impacts on their day to day life and provide intervention as appropriate.
- Assess communication and provide a management plan and rehabilitation (as appropriate) seeking specialist assessments as required.
- Provide training to staff and our service users social network.
- Be integral to service and organisational development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC registered
- Speech and Language Therapy degree
- Achieved Dysphagia Competencies
- Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI e.g. social communication, cognitive communication, communication partner training.
- Able to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload.
- Minimum 4 years qualified experience encompassing complex case management.
