On behalf of our client, a dynamic professional services group in Salford Quays operating across R&D Tax Relief and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consultancy, we are seeking an ambitious, creative, and commercially driven Marketing Associate. As they expand in the UK and launch US growth initiatives, they need a marketer to take ownership of their brand presence and quickly step into leadership.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage day-to-day marketing execution across all business units. This position is designed with clear career progression to fast-track you into a Marketing Manager role overseeing group-wide strategy, budgets, and future hiring as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation & Brand Development
    • Produce commercially focused content (articles, case studies, infographics, newsletters) tailored to business owners, CFOs, and senior decision-makers.
    • Translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling messaging while maintaining brand identity across all channels.
    • Partner with internal technical experts to uncover client success stories and industry insights.
  2. Digital Marketing & Social Media
    • Own social media channels with a focus on LinkedIn for B2B engagement and lead generation.
    • Build content calendars and deploy targeted email marketing campaigns and digital outreach initiatives.
    • Support website content management, SEO optimization, and performance tracking across digital touchpoints.
  3. Omnichannel Campaigns & Market Expansion
    • Deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional print literature.
    • Support international expansion campaigns targeted at US-based businesses and cross-border partners.
    • Align marketing activities with sales goals, reporting performance metrics directly to senior management.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • B2B Marketing Experience: Proven background in professional services, corporate consultancy, or service-based B2B environments.
  • Content & Copywriting: Strong skills translating technical concepts into engaging copy and multi-channel marketing collateral.
  • Digital & Social Mastery: Hands-on experience with LinkedIn lead generation, email marketing, and design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Commercial Drive: Solid understanding of ROI tracking, sales pipeline alignment, and a clear ambition to step into management.

Desirable Criteria

  • Exposure to technical consultancy, engineering, construction, or R&D tax sectors.
  • Familiarity with US market expansion, CRM platforms, marketing automation, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

Strategic Career Progression

  1. Initial Phase (Marketing Associate): Establish consistent branding, master core messaging, and manage end-to-end content delivery.
