Greys Specialist Recruitment are working with a growing financial services brokerage based in Eccles, Manchester, who are looking to appoint an experienced Secured Loan Advisor to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced second charge mortgage professional who is confident speaking with customers, understands secured lending and enjoys working in a target-driven environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing customers through the secured lending process from initial conversation through to completion, providing clear and compliant advice while building strong relationships along the way.
The role:
- Speaking with customers to understand their financial circumstances, objectives and borrowing requirements.
- Advising customers on suitable secured lending and second charge mortgage solutions.
- Managing applications through the full process, from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Working closely with lenders, introducers and internal teams to progress applications and secure completions.
- Maintaining a strong and well-managed pipeline and working towards individual targets.
- Providing customers with clear, accurate and compliant advice throughout the process.
- Keeping up to date with changes across the secured lending and second charge mortgage market.
- Ensuring all activity is carried out in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.
What they’re looking for:
- At least 1 year's experience advising on second charge mortgages or secured loans.
- Strong knowledge of secured lending products, processes and FCA requirements.
- A proven ability to work towards targets and manage a busy pipeline.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commercially minded approach with the ability to identify opportunities and convert enquiries.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Someone who is motivated by earning potential and wants to develop within a growing business.
What’s on offer:
- £32,000 - £35,000 basic salary.
- Uncapped commission.
- Realistic OTE of up to £90,000.
- 33 days' holiday including bank holidays.
