Full time, permanent position open to those based in Bath. Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum (based on experience).

We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our clients' expanding peripatetic team. This role is suitable for experienced OHTs or those with a Sport Science degree and a transferrable health-related background.

The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout the UK in a mobile screening van or their own vehicle to client sites in order to deliver health surveillance services. You must be happy to travel UK wide and frequently stay away from home during the week (often Monday-Thursday).

Responsibilities include:

  • Health surveillance screening
  • Audiometry
  • Lung function testing
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • General baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis
  • Supporting additional tasks such as health promotion activities

Who we're looking for:

  • Sport Science graduate with a background as an Emergency Medical Technician or in a transferrable health-related field
  • Able to complete overnight stays and extensive travel throughout the UK (overnight stays are frequently Monday-Thursday depending on client requirements)
  • Hold a full clean manual UK driving licence (must have held this licence for a minimum of 12 months) and be able to provide proof of this
  • Experience and/or willingness to drive a van up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Competent IT user (MS Office suite and/or electronic medical records systems)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Great communication skills
