Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Contract: Temporary Contract
Shift Time: 08:00–16:00 or 09:00–17:00 Monday - Friday
Location: Birmingham
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well-established private healthcare organisation on a locum basis.
What you’ll be doing:
Completing comprehensive physical, cognitive, emotional and environmental assessments
Developing individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans
Supporting patients with functional skills, cognitive rehabilitation, equipment and adaptations
Working closely with physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and other AHPs
Supporting safe and timely discharge planning
Contributing to MDT meetings, clinical decision-making and goal setting
Liaising with patients, families and carers to support positive outcomes
What we’re looking for:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification
Experience within an acute, rehabilitation or community setting
Strong assessment, communication and clinical planning skills
Ability to work independently and effectively within an MDT
Experience in areas such as neuro, orthopaedics, elderly care or mental health would be advantageous
This is a great opportunity for an OT looking for flexibility, additional shifts or the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
