We are a growing firm with multiple offices around London. Our work is diverse, addressing the full range of issues faced by modern families, and we also have a family legal aid contract. We are looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join our growing team in London. This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor or someone with 1–2 years’ PQE with experience in Family Law matters including divorce, child arrangements, non‑molestation orders, and Children Act proceedings. Advocacy experience, legal aid exposure, immigration law knowledge, and additional language skills would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent client care and managing sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintaining strong organisational, research, and communication standards to support effective case management and client service.
  • Demonstrating commercial awareness to support strategic decision‑making and deliver value to clients.
  • Contributing to business development activities as required.
  • Submitting legal aid applications.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in advocacy.
  • Qualified solicitor, either newly qualified or with 1–2 years PQE.
  • Strong expertise in family law, including experience handling complex cases such as divorce, non‑molestation orders, child arrangements, and consent orders.
  • Proven experience managing both Children Act proceedings and some financial remedy cases.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Some experience of immigration law is beneficial.
  • Fluency in an additional language is also an advantage.
