About The CompanyGreyhound is an emerging, research-driven growth equity firm founded on the belief that building enduring companies is one of the hardest challenges in business — and only a select few can achieve it. We specialize in identifying exceptional companies early and supporting them on their journey toward lasting greatness.

As one of the fastest-growing asset classes in private markets, there is an opportunity to build a world‐class growth equity firm from the ground up. Our mission is to achieve market‐leading investment returns through a concentrated portfolio of enduring growth companies. Now investing from our third fund, we\’re still in the early stages of our journey, but our vision is clear: to become the preferred partner for companies poised to compound their revenue, profits, and reputation over the long term.

With $1.5B in assets under management on behalf of institutional investors, non‐profits, and individuals, we\’ve already backed standout companies like Revolut, Guideline, Marqeta, Deliveroo, Brex, Toss, TravelPerk, N26, Weee!, Satispay, DriveWealth and Metronome.

Culture and Operating PrinciplesWe firmly believe that the success of any business lies in the quality of its people and the firm\’s culture. We challenge ourselves to set world‐class standards and focus on creating meaningful, long‐term impact rather than chasing short‐term wins or personal recognition. In building our business, we prioritize depth over breadth, committing to doing a select few things exceptionally well and always striving for improvement.

We take a thoughtful, analytical approach, looking beyond quick fixes to deeply understand problems. Our decisions are guided by data, first principles, and reason. We value direct and authentic communication, believing that candid dialogue leads to better decisions. Our teams remain lean and composed of carefully selected individuals who thrive together. By staying resourceful, executing with discipline and focus, we create lasting impact while avoiding wasted effort.

About the RoleWe are looking to strengthen our investment team with additional Associate hires. With our latest fund less than half deployed across three growth investments, we are planning to make five additional growth investments over the next 18 months. The new team members will play a key role in shaping new theses, assessing pipeline opportunities, and supporting portfolio companies with select value creation initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with 2‐4 years of experience at a top‐tier strategy consulting firm, who is now looking to transition into a high‐impact, entrepreneurial investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the deal team in evaluating investment opportunities through commercial due diligence, company data analysis, operating and returns modelling, benchmarking, and valuation analysis.

Shape investment theses by researching markets, trends, and companies; support sourcing by building market maps, ranking target companies, and reaching out to prospects.

Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute to value creation initiatives, especially in growth strategy and organisational development.

Advance Greyhound\’s thinking around enduring growth through original research and insight development.

Required Experience & Background

2‐4 years of consulting experience, ideally from firms where you developed strong exposure to commercial due diligence and a problem‐solving approach aligned with investment decision‐making.

A demonstrated history of high performance, including promotion(s) and standout performance reviews.

International exposure, gained through work, study, or personal experience across different countries and cultures.

Strong academic performance from a leading university.

Experience in finance, such as M&A, private equity, or equity research — preferred, not required.

Exposure to entrepreneurial environments, whether through a start‐up, side project, or venture building — preferred, not required.

Core Competencies

Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex problems and reach deep insights quickly and rigorously.

Commercial Research & Diligence: Skilled in leading commercial due diligence workstreams, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and business model assessment.
