Main Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for residents.
- Administer medications and treatments adhering to medical prescriptions and care plans.
- Complete physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
- Monitor and record vital signs, health status and changes in residents' conditions.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individual care plans.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and families.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for residents.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on current medical practices.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with active NMC nursing pin.
- Proven experience as a registered nurse in a care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing healthcare needs.
- Compassion, empathy and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
This position requires a PVG and two references.
