Responsibilities:
- Expertise in caring for fine arts, antiques, silverware (large collection of silver needs to be polished, organised according to the owner's specific instructions), glassware, china, tapestry/luxury fabrics.
- Prepare and serve light meals, such as green juice, California breakfast, tea, coffee, healthy snacks, protein drinks.
- Assist the principal if there are meetings in the home.
- Food shopping at specific stores and run other errands for the family.
- Greet guests and visitors with a friendly and professional approach.
- Work with the housekeeping team in the property, but may be required to tidy up bedrooms or communal areas in specific situations.
- May be required to iron or steam outfits in specific situations.
- Packing and unpacking (training provided for specific family requirements).
- Dog care (feeding, walks, vet appointments).
- Organise fresh flowers.
- Other household shopping orders and stock control.
- Household inventory.
- Expertise in caring for haute couture and luxurious clothes and shoes.
- Oversee the work of outside contractors, service providers, and suppliers to the household.
