A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join their household staff. This is a formally run, fully staffed household including a House Manager, Head Housekeeper, Ladies Maids, Housekeepers, Nannies, Chefs, Wardrobe Manager and PA.
The ideal candidates for this role must have a brilliant eye for detail, be flexible to work shifts and enjoy working as part of a team. Position will go permanent for the right candidate.
Duties to include:
- Different areas of the house and duties will be assigned to each Housekeeper
- Cleaning – to a high standard, including care of fine furniture
- Keeping communal areas spotless – including sauna
- Help with wardrobe
- Help with packing and unpacking when family travel
- Taking luggage up and down stairs
- Help greet guests when needed
Benefits:

House: Large formal household
Days & Hours: 5 days per week with 2 days off, however, consecutive days off are not guaranteed. Hours: a weekly rolling rota - on average 48 hours per week, including a 30-minute lunch break per day. The shifts are 7 am- 4 pm; 9 am – 6 pm; 10 am – 7 pm; 11 am – 8 pm and 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
Salary: £18 - £20 gross per hour depending on experience
Start: ASAP (position could go permanent for the right candidate)
