Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a Live in Housekeeper who can be responsible for the smooth running of a large private house for our clients. The clients also have 3 dogs, so you must be pet friendly. they also have chickens
The Housekeeper must be able to ‘muck in’ with what needs to be done.
You will ideally have previous experience as a Private Cook/Housekeeper in a Private Household or Estate.
Duties:
- Cleaning
- Laundry, ironing
- Looking after antiques, fine furnishings, and delicate finishes
- Managing household supplies and liaising with estate contractors
- Supporting guest arrivals
- Creating a calm, organised and well-run household
- Simple family style cooking ( very basic, when in residence).
- Pet care ( 3 labradors and Chickens)
Property: 6/7 bedroom house over 3 floors (Conservatory, garden, Hot tub, Sauna)
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
Start: Week commencing 15/09/2025
Accommodation: Provided a detached 2/3-bedroom property on the estate.
Working Week – Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend work
Hours: 8/9am – 4/5pm with flexibility
Driver –
Start Date – Week commencing 15/09/2025 for 4 months
