Live out Nanny Job (separate accommodation provided if needed), Poole, Dorset, Flexible Start
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced, proactive, and organised Nanny to join their busy household. The family lives in beautiful Dorset and is happy to provide a separate accommodation for the right candidate.
The Nanny will care for two boys, aged 6 and 8 years old. Both parents like to be hands-on, and there is another Nanny from Monday to Wednesday. As such, the successful Nanny needs to be comfortable with sole charge and shared care, and have great and clear communication skills.
A confident driver and strong swimmer are both non negotiable for this role, as well as solid experience with school-aged children. The Nanny will be required to provide a healthy routine for the boys, including structured educational and study support but also exercise, outdoor play, and various activities.
An up to date police check and first aid are essential for this position.
Duties:
- Daily routines and supervision
- School runs
- Homework support / reading / encouraging literacy
- Taking the children to clubs, activities, and play dates
- Meal planning and food preparation for the children
- Organisingwardrobes
- Keeping the children's areas and belongings tidy and organised
- Rotating toys and books
- Packing and unpacking for the children
- Scheduling children's appointments
- Purchasing children's clothing and essentials
- Occasional proxy parenting
Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour
Days: Thursday to Sunday
Hours: 7am to 9am, then again from 12 (noon) to 8pm
Driving: essential
Travel: required
Language: English essential
Other staff employed: nanny, housekeeper, and house manager
Pets: two cats (not in the main property)
