How to prepare for a job interview at Greycoat Lumleys
✨Know the Family Dynamics
Before your interview, take some time to understand the family dynamics. Since you'll be working in a busy household with older children and dogs, think about how you can contribute positively to that environment. Be ready to discuss your experience in similar settings and how you can adapt to their specific needs.
✨Showcase Your Cleaning Skills
Prepare to talk about your cleaning techniques and any special skills you have. Whether it's efficient laundry methods or effective dusting strategies, be specific about what you bring to the table. You might even want to mention any products or tools you prefer using that align with the family's preferences.
✨Demonstrate Your Professionalism
While the family is looking for someone who can fit in, they also want a professional. Be clear about how you maintain boundaries while being friendly. Share examples of how you've successfully balanced professionalism and personal rapport in previous roles.
✨Be Dog-Friendly
Since there are dogs in the house, it’s crucial to express your comfort and experience with pets. If you have any relevant anecdotes or experiences, share them! This will show that you’re not only capable of handling the cleaning duties but also that you can coexist happily with their furry family members.
