Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper who might be looking to gain experience working within a private household environment. You will be assisting the existing full-time Housekeeper to provide additional support. The client will consider someone to work part-time or full-time depending on the candidate but you will be required to work weekends.
The role will be mainly hands-on cleaning, laundry, ironing and doing changeovers for an on-site Air B&B property. This is a large private residence and candidates must have some previous Housekeeping experience. Candidates should be able to take direction as well as being able to work independently and manage their own time.
Responsibilities:- Hands-on cleaning both within the family home and change-overs on the holiday let
- Laundry and ironing
Candidates must be drivers and have excellent references and will require an Enhanced DBS check due to working around visiting family. This can be an employed position (payroll with paid annual leave entitlement) or self-employed depending on the candidate if part-time. To start as soon as they find the right person.
15 hours per week Saturday to Monday (4 days could be considered) ideally 10.00 to 15.00 or up to 37.5 hours per week to include weekends with days off during the week. £14,000 to £37,000 gross per annum (depending on hours worked) (circa £18.00 per hour).
