Live out Gardener Job, Near Newbury - Berkshire
We have a lovely position for a knowledgeable and dedicated gardener to take care of a 80 acre estate. The garden has just 2-3 acres of formal garden and requires a pro-active person to maintain it. The right candidate will be working alongside the client who is very much involved. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Horticultural background and knowledge, as well as specific vegetable growing skills. A happy disposition and a ‘can do’, flexible attitude is essential. The client is looking for someone who loves their job and takes real pride in their work. Discretion and trustworthiness is vital.

Care of raised beds

Care of fruit trees

Care of the Vegetable Garden

Flower beds

Cutting garden and boarder

Care of the planted orchard

Walled garden

Climbing roses

Lawns, hedges and shrubs

Woodland management

Care of pond/water feature

Maintenance and DIY
-
Use and maintenance of all machinery

Occasional care of chickens
Driving: Essential, must have own car
Start date: November/December
Working week: Monday – Friday, 8am - 4pm (must be flexible)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
