Greycoat Lumley’s client are seeking an experienced Nanny for their family in the South Side of Glasgow. The parents are looking for a Nanny with experience of newborns and ideally twins. The family are welcoming and keen to find a nanny to stay with them long term. Mum will return to work in approximately 6 months’ time and have shared care of the children until then.
Duties include:
- Shared care of the twins
- Help with establishing and keeping feeding/nap schedule
- Preparing meals, snacks and feeding the babies
- Help with dressing, bathing, and changing babies
- Engaging with the children in a fun and educational way
- Engaging the children in interactive play, and during outdoor outings such as visits to the park, museums, play groups
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Monitor and support developmental milestones
- Bathing and bedtime assistance when required
- Occasional babysitting (with prior agreement)
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Laundry
- Keeping kitchen and common areas clean
This role will suit a Nanny who is calm, patient, gentle and confident. Also able to take initiative around the house and towards the babies. It is beneficial if the nanny can drive although not essential.
Start: Mid July
Rate of Pay: £15 to £20 GPH
Hours: 9am to 4pm (or 5pm) Monday to Thursday (or Friday)
