A fantastic opportunity to work for a Private Residence whose Head Gardener is leaving. The estate comprises of 35 acres in total, with 5 acres of woodland and approximately 1 acre of formal garden. Another Gardener is employed.
Duties:
- Garden maintenance duties: lawn mowing, strimming, trimming etc.
- Tree maintenance
- Use and maintenance of machinery
- Manage the other gardener
- Flower bed, borders maintenance etc.
- Liaising with contractors
The ideal Gardener would be experienced, hands on and self-motivated. A gardener with some degree of relevant qualifications is highly desirable.
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am – 5pm with flexibility
Drivers: Yes
Start: June / July
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 gpa, depending on experience and qualifications
