This down to earth and private family are looking for a very good all rounder to join their small team. There is a management couple who live in and you will be reporting to the Estate Manager. There is a full time Groundskeeper employed. This role requires someone with a great can do attitude who is able to support the Estate Manager and the full time Groundskeeper with the following duties:

  • Mowing, hedging, trimming of lawns etc of 2-5 acres of garden around a lovely heritage home
  • Maintaining garden machinery
  • General handyman/DIY/general maintenance duties
  • Sanding down and oiling garden furniture
  • Tidy up outside areas
  • Set up fire places
  • Mend fences
  • Valet 8 cars
  • Clean gutters
  • Help care for dogs
  • Handyman duties i.e minor repairs and basic electrics and plumbing
  • Performing minor repairs or maintenance tasks around the house or garden when needed
  • Driving duties as and when needed. Must be child-friendly as this will include some school runs too
  • Valeting and servicing 3 cars
  • Help when needed with the stables area, tennis court and jumping arena

Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 40/45 hour week with some flexibility

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 GPA depending on experience

Start date: July or August
