We have a great position for a Gardener to work alongside a team of two other gardeners in the management of a beautiful established garden of 3 acres. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of gardening and have a passion for caring for kitchen gardens and small plants and a keen eye for maintaining borders. This is an opportunity for a junior gardener to learn and grow their skills in a beautiful private garden. The majority of the lawn care will be contracted out. This role is more for specific plant and vegetable care.
Responsibilities to include:
- Planting of plants
- Weeding
- Maintenance of borders
- Use and Maintenance of garden machinery
- Assisting other gardeners as they need
- Deal with contractors
Start date: When the right person is found
Working Week: 5 Days a week – Monday to Friday with one weekend every 4 weeks
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate, (within Market Rate)
Driving: Must hold a full UK driving licence
