A returning Greycoat Lumleys client is seeking an experienced Travelling Housekeeper to join their formally run household. The role is primarily based in Oxfordshire but involves extensive worldwide travel. Accommodation is available on the property, either a one-bedroom flat or a three-bedroom cottage, depending on preference and family requirements.
Duties to include:
- Maintain all areas of the household to exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Manage laundry, ironing, repairs, and dry-cleaning for the family and household items
- Prepare breakfast or occasional family meals; assist with entertaining and events
- Care for houseplants, flower arrangements, and pets (feeding and walking as required)
- Provide cover for the Lady's Maid when needed
- Assist with shopping, errands, and household provisioning
- Travel with the family as required, providing flexible "out of hours" support
- Support during family events, ensuring smooth operation throughout
- Liaise closely with the Head Housekeeper and Head Butler to adapt duties as required
- Maintain a professional, discreet, and reliable presence at all times
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional housekeeper who enjoys a varied role, thrives in a formally run household, and is comfortable travelling internationally with the family.
Accommodation: Choice of one-bedroom flat or three-bedroom cottage on the property
Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Working week: 5 days on a rota basis (weekends included as required)
