Live In or Live Out Housekeeper and Head Housekeeper Job Oxfordshire

An experienced Head housekeeper is needed for a family with young children on their country estate. It is a Modern, formally run, fully staffed household but with the informalities of a young family, the property has been recently renovated therefore you must have a gentle approach and be very knowledgeable on caring for delicate furnishings. This role is hands-on, and to be part of the housekeeping team alongside 2 other housekeepers.

The family have a variety of pets so you must be animal-friendly. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, experienced, professional, very organised and dynamic housekeeper who will thrive in this busy role.

Duties to include:

Must be proficient in full housekeeping duties

Laundry management

Wardrobe management

Running the house

Meeting and greeting guests as needed

Occasional help with family pets

Shopping for the household

Laying formal table settings

Driving is essential, must have your own car but a car can be provided for work purposes. The role will be working on a rotational basis with the two other Housekeepers, including the weekend when on rotation or if there is a dinner party or event. There will be an early and late shift in place with the other housekeeping staff. Flexibility is paramount to the success of the role.

Hours/ Days : Five days per week rostered in advance (to include weekends when the roster dictates), shift pattern 7 until 4 and 11 until 8, again on rotation within the team.

40 hours a week: Flexible for overtime

Salary: Live in – up to £45k , Live out – up to £55k depending on experience Negotiable for the right person
